Sylvia only arrived in New Zealand in July 2008.  She is originally from South Africa but has spent the previous 7 years in Belgium and was in the UK for 3 years prior to that.
After attaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal, she did 3 years articles with a Chartered Accounting firm in South Africa.   Then the travel bug bit and she spent a year in Europe exploring the origins of her parents in England and the Netherlands before settling down to a job in Cape Town.  She has 15 years experience as an accountant in the commercial world, working for different companies in different countries, but is enjoying the challenge and variety offered her at Leslie & O'Donnell Ltd.  Sylvia is preparing Financial Accounts and attending to clients IRD requirements in GST return and Tax Return preparation.

Sylvia loves it here in sunny Blenheim, making new friends and spends her free time exploring the countryside.   She enjoys travelling, reading, tramping, tai chi and yoga.
